WORLDS LONGEST BRA CHAIN

Local member "Rob Bauer" acheived the world record for the longest chain of bras, to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation's breast care nurse program.

It has taken more than three years to come together, but now the town of Bundaberg in south-east Queensland is claiming a world record for the longest chain of bras. More than 166,000 bras, measuring 163 kilometres, were laid out at the town's showgrounds. It is 51 kilometres longer than the 2006 record in Cyprus.

Breast cancer fundraiser Rob Bauer says some of the bras will be delivered to Third World countries.
